An Internationally Acclaimed Organization
Sigma Alpha Iota was founded in 1903 and since then has brought together individuals from across the world, all united by their support for the art of music. Sigma Alpha Iota prides itself in its many philanthropies, including its own charitable arm, Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc. Its mission is to promote music creation, performance, and scholarship, as well as encourage local and worldwide service using music. Sigma Alpha Iota provides opportunities to engage individuals both during their collegiate years, and also post-grad. Members may choose to continue their journey with SAI by becoming affiliated with The SAI Alumnae Association and gain the privilege of affiliating with an alumnae chapter.

The bonds of sisterhood are like no other and here at Eta Mu those bonds are truly unbreakable. To be a sister means that you will never walk alone; you will always have someone at your side. Creating everlasting friendships and lifelong connections is one of the many beauties of membership. The sisters of Eta Mu work to uphold this high value within our chapter and beyond.
